Today has literally been a series of unfortunate events. Where to begin?
Oh..I woke up at 3:30 and didn't go back to bed until like 4:30, way to screw up my sleep (then again, i went to bed at 8:30..?)
My friend's BatMitzvah (I'm not Jewish, so mind my spelling!) was held. That was fun. But there were a whole bunch of people who were either older than me, or a year younger than me. And here's the thing: my grade hates the general population of the grade younger than us. Not everyone, there are a few people in that grade I like, but mostly our grade hates them, for many reasons which I probably shouldn't list online. No one really talked to me. And as much as it works for people in movies, you can't easily go up to random people and be like "Hey! How's life!?" in my town. It just doesn't usually work that way.
Oh, I "won" a $5 gift card to Cold Stone Creamery (ice cream place), a place I'm about to go tomorrow, and someone STOLE IT. Yeah, they just [insert adverb of choice here] stole it from my possession. That got me pissed. It's stupid, yes, but I earned it, and they might as well have taken like a ribbon or honor. Yeah, I use big metaphors.
Why am I typing so formally? Oh well. It's a change.
Then I went to a graduation party. It wasn't bad. But the whole time I was getting over my insane obsession to be depressed over stupid things like losing $5 worth of ice cream. But for some reason that I cannot fathom, I cannot talk to people who bore me so intensely as people who cannot relate to everything I want to talk about. I can't talk to the people at this party about how the people at the Bat Mitzvah made me feel. I assume they don't know the people, so they can't relate. It's annoying. So, I can't talk to old people who, seeing as they can't relate to my social life, only talk about "How's school?" "Are you excited for the coming of summer?" "What grade are you in?" etc. etc. etc.
Then on top of all of that, I miss the Disney Channel Premiere of Toy Story which I have never seen in my life so if someone would like to give me like a YouTube channel that illegally shows Toy Stories 1 and 2 on it, then that would brighten my day.
Not to mention my plans for tomorrow to be with people I actually enjoy being with got completely screwed up in many ways. My friend and I wanted to see this movie, and we have been waiting to see it forever! Then my other friend and I have this project in which an opportunity to see this movie is presented, so we decided we could all see the movie AND get a project done; we'd kill two birds with one stone... Anyways, my friend said she couldn't come. So that got screwed up. Then my other friend ALMOST cancelled, but luckily she can make it. But my plans for working on the project tomorrow are pretty messed up altogether as I speak.
Well, that's my life in turmoil. And no one's there to read about it. How thrilling.
OH And on top of
all of that amazing news, I'm not meeting Ingrid Michaelson in 6 days. My life just keeps getting better, eh?
